Any-bunny else egg-cited for Easter? You won’t want to miss the one-of-a-kind, Easter themed foodiefeast hopping across Auckland and Bay of Plenty this month.
The Woolworths Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream Truck will be popping up at beaches, parks and events across Tāmaki Makaurau and Tauranga from 20 – 31 March, serving up delicious hot cross buns with a cool twist in exchange for a gold coin donation to KidsCan.
With Woolworths’ timeless classic, yummy Caramilk, or the new Biscoff flavour, there’s a hot cross bun for every taste. Pair with a basketful of toppings – wonderful and weird – from ice cream, maple syrup and sprinkles for the sweet-tooth, and kimchi and Marmite for the daring and adventurous. The options to mix and match your very own delectable Easter treat are almost endless.
The travelling truck is available in Auckland and Bay of Plenty only, but hot cross bun lovers across the motu needn’t fret. Woolworths’ mouth-watering favourites, including gluten-free choices, are available every day for you to try one of their scrumptious ice cream hot cross bun recipe sensations at home. Plus, a portion of traditional hot cross bun sales at the supermarket go to KidsCan helping Kiwi kids in need, so hop to it!
